NO to scam!

If you happen to come across something like this, wake up and do not let this thing happen again..

DAMN!

Today, as I was using the escalator heading to the mid valley small entrance, there was this young lady and a guy, aged 18, came to me and told me stuffs like, "hey miss, try tearing this voucher and just try luck. If got grand prize then of course you r the lucky one, if not then sorry lo".

So I thought to just give her face and to fulfill her favor, just tear it and just leave that place.

Ok there goes the whole process.. Tore the card, and what I get? SPECIAL GIFT!!

Their next expression was, "WHOAH WHOAH.. Congratulations miss. You stand a chance to win a TOYOTA ALTIS". Shook my hand for God knows how many times. Damn it! Enough of acting la! Find it too exaggerating. Before this I have already heard alot of this scam going on around the city, almost everywhere..

I wasn't excited at all as I was really doubting along the way. She told me to collect the prize by today itself. Only today.. That made me felt weird already..

She said their office is located at Kuchai Lama.. She needed me to be there to redeem the prize. I got Kok Siang to accompany me and since Kok Siang said he was very interested to know what are their tactics to attract and make people trust them, so we ended up giving it a shot and have a look.

Flaws everywhere! First, the company/office don't even have a proper company sign board! The name of the company was just printed on a A4 paper and stick it on the wall. Just like that? Fine with that..
The other thing that I noticed was, the office inside can say that it looks like a vacant place for no good reason. I know something is really wrong with that place because I came across before, to a place which looked similar to this office. And true enough, the place that I used to visit before was actually a scam too. Too bad my friend got cheated and already invested and threw her money to them. Nothing can be done. Back to this, their workers are all young ones! All aged below 20 and so forth.. They made me to have these uneasy feelings already.

They required me to pay the total of RM3K++ to be able to claim my prize. What the heck? You said totally free and now I need to come out with such sum of money? Confirm scam.

Gotta admit that though me and Kok Siang already knew it was a scam but there was a stage whereby we were also attracted to the things that they offered. In the end also, it is still a scam la. These kind of news had been published a lot in newspapers telling citizens to be more aware and do not get cheated. And now, I am also doing the same, just a piece of reminder for not falling into this kind of threshold. There is no such thing as easy money..

Though I was really pissed that they wasted my two hours, but still it was something that I get to experience and get to feel how it is like to see those "cheaters" face how disappointed they are for not being able to carry out their scam activities successfully.

Is it proper for people like us to report this to the authorized party? Like POLICE? I really feel like doing so.. Really hate seeing these kind of immoral thing going on cheating all those innocence. I always believe that in this world, there is still JUSTICE.
